Why did you Choose NC State:
NC State is one of the best engineering schools. I wanted the best education I could get. Also, I was interested in PSE and the benefits from a smaller close knit program.
What activities did you participate in during high school? What was you favorite and why?
I participated in National Honors Society, French Club, and our school choir. My favorite was French Club. This is where I met my best friends and I got to connect with the community by teaching children French.
Include one fun fact about yourself.
If I could survive off of just fruit I would happily do so.
What are you most excited about as you head to NC State?
New friends and different learning. I want to be challenged and expand my knowledge and understanding of the world.
What are you most nervous about as you head to NC State?
I know absolutely no one. I’m coming from a small town and the amount of students at State is like 5 time the entire population of my town.
What are you going to miss from home?
The mountains. I live in the Smokey mountains of North Carolina and I can’t say I won’t miss waking up to a view of those beautiful mountains covered in fog and a morning mist.
