Spraying Systems makes Pilot Plant Gift

We are excited to announce PSE is the recipient of new showers with HP cleaning nozzles, fan cleaning nozzles, full cone nozzles, air atomizing coating guns and nozzles, and an automatic tank cleaning device. This equipment provides NC State with the latest industry equipment to help maintain the Pilot Paper machine to clean the fabrics, reduce foaming in the headbox, provide precise trim cuts, help eliminate manual cleaning of the tanks, and provide a means to apply precise coatings to the final paper product when it has been made and out of the dryer section.

We believe this equipment will help improve the efficiency of the Pilot Paper machine and bring the students increased knowledge about the showers and nozzles required to keep a paper machine in good working order.
