WestRock Company Increases Endowments

In addition to being one of our top annual donors at the Platinum level, WestRock recently made a commitment to add substantially to their existing undergraduate scholarship for students studying paper science and engineering AND establish a new graduate award in our department. A total of $100K in new awards.

Dr. Peter Hart as well as a large contingent from WestRock made the trek to Talley Student Union to attend and hear their President and CEO, David Sewell, speak in the General Session to a gathered crowd of student, alumni, donors and industry partners. WestRock established the Dr. Peter Hart Graduate Student Award in his honor whose primary intent is to support professional travel opportunities for departmental graduate students.
