Megan Skrip

Bio

Megan is a researcher and science communicator with a background in ecology, songbird physiology and the theoretical and practical aspects of science writing and engagement. Her expertise includes synthesis and translation of scientific research for audiences both within and outside of the sciences. Megan performs news writing, grant writing and editing, social media engagement, website management, graphic design and more––to support and highlight the research and academic programs at the Center for Geospatial Analytics. She holds Ph.D. and Master’s degrees in Ecology and a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Environmental Studies and is a member of the National Association of Science Writers.
